At Beamery, our mission is to put talent transformation at the heart of every business. Our purpose is to create access to opportunities for people, regardless of the circumstances of their birth. Therefore, it is our aim to create a fair and respectful working environment for our team: We want our employees to be able to do their best work, and to feel safe, regardless of age, sex, gender, sexuality, socio-economic status or any other factor.
Consequently, we’ve been thinking a lot about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), along with related concepts like belonging, representation, and authenticity. Exploring the idea for ourselves revealed more complexity and less in the way of best practice than we might have hoped.
This report is part of our plan to address that: to drive transformation of talent strategy (for ourselves and for our customers), we must understand the structures in place that enhance or inhibit DEI programs.
